Jake

6/28/2024

A beloved member of the Holt family. I have so many pictures of our sweet Jake Bug, it was hard to choose. But this one is a favorite and makes my whole soul smile! I have never met a dog that loved a toy so much in my whole life. He lived for the ropes. He carried them around with him absolutely everywhere, to bed, to go potty, to eat. Jake was such a sweet, silly boy. When he was younger, the ropes were so long that he would often trip over his rope as he carried it around, we couldn't help but laugh at him. Gone but never forgotten, we will miss our baby each and every day. Thank you Dr. Shepherd for taking such great care of our family.❤️

A beloved member of the Witte family.

Muffin

6/10/2024

A beloved member of the Baron family. Muffin was the sweetest little boy. The tip of his nose was in the shape of a heart, which was a perfect representation for all the love he received and how much he gave us in his 18 years. Every single day of those 18 years, he’d make us smile just by seeing him and his happy self. He is forever imprinted on our hearts and I’m so glad he lived as long as he did. He was our little furry blessing. ❤️

Charlie

6/29/2024

A beloved member of the Wilson family. What made my sweet boy, Charlie, special… Charlie was just that. He was sweet to everyone. He never ran away from anyone. Instead, he would crawl in your lap if you sat down, or rubbed against your leg if you were standing. Charlie was a re-gift multiple times. He was gifted to my neighbor when she adopted him from the Humane Society. Fortunately for me, after a few years, she was no longer able to keep him and gifted him to me. He was the greatest gift ever! I always knew he was special to me but I didn’t know how special he really was until it was time for him to leave us. I have never seen so many people cry over a pet. Friends, family, and anyone who knew him said the sweetest things about him and didn’t want him to leave. So, that is when you know you have a special pet… when he is special to everyone. Sweet dreams, my sweet boy.

Caitlyn

8/30/2024

A beloved member of the Wood family. I adopted Caitlyn from a rescue group in 2012. She was extremely sweet and loving so our bond was instantaneous. Her favorite place to be was in my arms snuggling, kneading, purring. She spent many hours with me on the recliner and always wanted to be close by so I encouraged this closeness by getting her a stroller so we could walk together, her very own floatie so she could join me in the pool, and a sturdy carrier so she could join me on road trips. Life with Caitlyn was perfect and full of so many wonderful moments. I regret that we didn’t have more time together. This special girl will always have a place in my heart and will never be forgotten!

Maddy

8/1/2024

A beloved member of the Motto family. My favorite story about Maddy: Maddy came into our lives when she was four months old. My youngest was 9 at the time. He was afraid of “big dogs” but since she was only four months and a Golden I knew she wouldn’t grow too large. Besides, he would see her grow and realize that there is just more to love. He was so proud to walk her around the neighborhood. One of his favorite games was to play hide and seek. Randomly, he’d hide and she would search the entire house for him. You could hear her paws tapping in each room excitedly searching for her “brother”. He would bring his friends over and play hide and seek. They had such fun playing with her and she loved it as well. Of course she always found him but she would search with such conviction, unrelenting in her task. Once he laid across the kitchen island counter and she circled the counter knowing he was there but hadn’t looked up until he laughed. We moved to Florida and took Maddy with us. My son, now 25, came to visit and played hide and seek with her. She was a little slower in her search but she searched with the same amount of zeal and joy. She was a constant source of happiness. She was a beautiful soul and we miss her terribly.
